My daughter has a golden polish hen that showed very well the 1st year. This winter after she molted some (actually several) of her head feathers came back in white. Does anyone know why this happened or if there's a fix for it? We plucked some hoping they would come back in the right color but they're still white. The rest of her feathers are beautiful. Thanks for any suggestions.
