Hello everyone! I am new to this forum and raising chickens and am very excited for both. I have a question which I notice is commonly asked on here, but I thought it wouldn't hurt. So I am planning on raising 30 white rock chicks and wondering if I have enough room for them or should I create more. I have sectioned off a 4x10 space in my shed with a hole cut for a door out to a 17x11 run. Do you think my coop (sectioned off area in my shed) is big enough for 30 birds? I have heard the whole 1sqft per bird and that's what I was kinda going off of. Should I make it bigger or would it be big enough? They are going to be out in the run all day and only in the coop at night obviously. Also is my run big enough or should it be bigger also?? Let me know what everyone thinks and be easy on me as I'm just new hahah thanks
