Who all keeps their chickens IN THE HOUSE?

Some chickens just are very clean that way. The white Ameraucana on "my page" did not poop in the dog bed. She slept with the dog. They were best buds. I have a chicken in the house right now that doesn't poop in her bed. Chickens make wonderful house pets. They are very social and love to be where ever you are. Yes, you can have just one chicken, if it is in the house. Most of my chickens usually live outside though. Oh and I do use chicken diapers sometimes.

LOL I made a chicken diaper for my white silkie with a crossbeak "Felix" so he could come in once in awhile. Its red with white polka dots and he gets baths and after he's dried he likes sitting on my chest while I read or sleep.

I just moved 3 little japs into the house. I'm waiting to order chicken diapers before letting them wander too much though. They are still adjusting to the indoors and being handled. Hopefully they will become very tame.

I think it's cool
But then again I bring Audrey in every other day for visits. I figure people have parrots in the house. I really dont see much of a difference.

*whispers* And just set up another cage/crate so that I can bring in all 5 girls if it comes down to it.

I have a cat and a duck that sleep together...I think thats kind of weird.:lol:in the garage

I try to bring my sweetie andalusian in, but my hubby gets mad at me and says, "NO CHICKENS IN THE HOUSE!!!". LOL. She's my little cuddle hen and would watch TV with me if I let her.
