Hi there! I ordered some double silver laced Barnevelder (DSLB) hatching eggs in the mail. Due to the postal delivery crushing the box only one egg survived to hatching. Now this little, pullet?, is 3mo old to the day. Tiger as it is named, does not have the typical lacing of any of our other DSLB. It is predominantly black with mottled lacing/splashes of white only on the wings. I thought maybe Tiger may be a cockerel but the saddle and tail feathers aren’t looking that way. Is this really a DSLB or maybe actually a black and white barnevelder? Do I need to wait longer for more roo characteristics to develop? TIA

It looks like a Silver Double Laced Barnevelder cockerel to me. Their lacing pattern won't come in like the females'.
Okay thanks! I have a roo now, and am perfectly happy with Tiger no matter the sex. But my roo has more white on the wings and head so I thought that would be more prominent here too.
