I am just saying that the hen in the background is a BR that is of typical hatchery quality, not a Cuckoo Marans. I have those and some a few generations removed from the hatchery as well. Hatcheries claim to sell whatever breed they sell, but do not claim that they will conform to the Standard of Perfection, just that it will look like the breed they claim it is.
