Cool!!! Pics of our three broody hens from this summer, plus one of our broody guineas. All broody mama hens did very well, but mama guineas rejected their keet at day 5.

Watching a hen raise chicks is my favorite part of chicken keeping. I was lucky to have ALL 9 of my Araucana pullets and hens go broody this year! Four sat and hatched clutches and two I gave incubator chicks. They all did a great job parenting. Here's my latest and last hen hatch of the summer:
