Who doesn't love a stupid question...

So I bought two of those screw-on feeder/waterers at TSC last night for our two chicks.

I filled the jar with water, screwed on the top, and flipped it over, efficiently removing all water from the jug and pouring it into the sink. I repeated this process, twice, before giving up and offering them the remaining water in the reservoir and feeling like an idiot.

Is there something I'm just not getting?

When you make the flip, just do it quickly. Really quickly. You'll get it. Just takes a little practice.​

Alright, I'll give it another go tomorrow and try it with lightning speed. I felt like such a fool, being outsmarted by a piece of plastic...lol

If you turn it with the opening on the top side, then it won't start to fill until you have the whole thing turned over. (If it has one hole like mine does.)
