Who else got some 2013 chicks?!

Yikes, which hatchery is this? I hope I don't get any extra roos in my box! I'm expecting a few sexing mistakes even though I ordered all pullets. But not too many!
Ideal Hatchery, apparently it is common practice at many hatcheries....I had no idea until I started to get anxious about their arrival and stumbled upon some fine print! I am hoping to just sell them on craigslist and actually recoup some the cost. They ended up sending 8 warmer chicks with the 8 I actually ordered!

Welcome to BYC. I'm so excited I just placed my order. I'm getting 5 little girls come mid-August. (1) of each - Australorp, Easter Egger, Golden Buff, Buff Orpington and Light Brahma. My husband is building our coop and I'm trying to gather as much information as possible. I still want 2 female Silkies, mature or chicks, but it's so hard to find a place that will sell just one or two. Guess I'll have to keep scouring for a breeder that would be willing to part with two of their ladies.

Sweet! Now that I would not mind! I assumed they would use a feather sex-able breed, but I guess it's probably just anything they have extras of.
Well, we ordered three breeds, all pullets and five of each, BA being one of them so they just threw in an extra. Much appreciated we thought. We do need another roo eventually but I want to pick and choose carefully when the time comes.

My babies are supposed to have arrived today ... Nothing yet

Finally got my babies.

I'm really mad at the post office for losing them. Several arrived DOA and many others are not looking very good a lot of the girls won't even stand up.

I am now pumping them with water and petilyte every 30 minutes hoping to save them. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I called the hatchery, who is more than happy to replace them but they were really upset just like I am.
