Day 6 in the LG. 29 eggs incubating. My first time all the way around. It'll be a learning experience if nothing else. I candled everyone last night including the brown eggs and see blood vessels going on. No smells yet. Must be doing something right. I rotate twice a day. I also rotate inner eggs in the circle outwards each time and outer eggs inwards. That way everyone is getting the privilege of being under the heating element. Believe it or not my temp stays relatively within the safety range. It's 100.4 on the left, 101 on the right. My humidity isn't as low as many seem to say it should be but I'm doing the best with what I have. Already have sponges when it comes to the end and I need to bring it up. I'm doing good on the waiting part.

I have 5 in the mini Brinsea Bator!!! One English hen and 4 layers!! 12 hours left so they should be coming out any time now! The eggs have been moving around the incubator all day!!

I'm on day 4! I have 12 shipped EE eggs and 5 Silkie/Sizzle eggs from my own flock

Love those Cymani chicks! I'd really like to have some of those, but I can't see spending the money it would take to get myself some

Never seen/heard of a gray egg....pretty cool. Those are some pretty eggs! I like the shade of green you got.

My six eggs went on lock down tonight. I've seen two of them rocking today so looks like they are getting into position. I've been keeping the temps at 100 degrees and I'm curious to see if they start hatching on day twenty like the first hatch did in this incubator. This is the part I love and hate at the same time and the waiting is almost painful sometimes. I've already started staring at them!

I would love to hatch some Cymani chicks or even mixes, it would be really interesting to see what the babies look like compared to the pure breds.

Day 21 and all 5 have been rocking for 2 days now!! Hopefully I see chicks today!

I am doing dry hatch for 1st time, eggs due 31st Someone said they dry hatch ,lock down on the 18th day, increase humidity to 50% , then on day 23 remove all chicks and throw away what did not hatch. I hope I can do this

nothing is happening in the L G now . I 'll see what happens or what hatches.
I changed bulbs in the cooler bator I made and it is cycling off some now, still needs work

I hope to get it working by the time peahens lay Oh well so is life.........
