"Cooked" is the optimal word. I had a brief temp spike to 137 F on day two of incubation. It is now day seven and I am still holding out hope that some have survived.

I just put 37 eggs in my brand new Christmas gift--the HovaBator 1588 w/automatic turner! So pumped! 23 barnyard mixes of my own, 8 pure RIR from a friend, and another 6 barnyard mixes from another friend.
I am calling this my "trial run" and plan to sell off the babies ASAP, but it is REALLY fun having my first set of eggs to wait for!
I put them all in between 9am-noon this past Tuesday, so that doesn't actually count as day 1, right? So I'm on day 3 right now.
Fingers crossed!
Thanks
Quick question--if I set my eggs on a Tuesday morning, I should take them out of the turner and lock-down on a Saturday morning, right? (that's day 18 for me, right?)
