The fish were biting at the neighborhood pond(five minute walk, and it’s not frequently fished) the weeked before last but then they just stopped even though the weather had improved. I just found a gold mine of giant fish next to the highway in a spot that you wouldn’t think there were fish in but it’s a 20 minute drive.

I’m mostly fishing for bass and sunfish. My technique is to put a live bluegill on a bobber and let it drift while I fish with a light tackle for sunfish to pass the time

Most of the kokannee and rainbows we eat.

I've never had trout, the ones I caught were too small to keep. I feel like I'm missing out lol

Of course we eat them, we also get blue crabs in Aug and Sept. Boil and eat those as well.

Gosh I've never had blue crab and I was down there last fall, what's it taste like? I'm not a fan of shrimp so I've always assumed they were similar
