Bullheads in the bait tap at the pond with no bass in it(or at least they’ve been decimated by the huge snapping turtleS and otters) makes me want to fish for them but the snapping turtles are preventing me from it. I don’t want to break another rod on a snapping turtle.

Use an ugly stik they don't break.

Tomorrow is fish fry Saturday!! The hubs is taking my brother in law out one last time before he moves to Cali... I'll be ready when he moves. He's taking up my spot in the boat. Lol

Went fishing last night and this morning caught 2 walleye and a sauger. (There like a smaller walleye.)

Tossed my bait trap into the middle of the pond couple days ago, the wire connecting the rope to the trap broke. I finally took the plunge and bought a minnow trap. Just arrived today. https://www.amazon.com/Gees-Feets-G-40-Minnow-Trap/dp/B07DGL1LWZ. Looks good. I’ll be setting it as soon as the rain stops.

Landed a pretty good pike the other day 33 inches. roughly 7 and a half pounds
