anyone here ever fish for common carp?

The first time i have ever seen one was the other day. The rainbows were still really pink after they were cooked but the camera didn't pick it up

I think you use bread and or corn for them but bow fishing them is probably best

Anything that has a scent and tastes good they will eat. Similar bait to catfish bait works too, night crawlers and chicken liver. I've caught them as by catch while daytime cat fishing. I used to buy the commercially available carp bait balls, and they seemed to work the best when I wanted to target them. The smaller carp in cooler waters also make some tasty fish nuggets in a deep fryer.

My brother caught some walleye and 2 gold eye today. Have to say fried goldeye fish are very tasty. So having a fish fry tonight.

Dang I want some. I caught some trout to day but we're to small to eat

Going up to pharaoh lake(upstate ny) in a couple weeks with my dad on a backpacking trip. Incredible fishing.

Fish(bass) I’ve caught in the past couple months. All different fish except for the belly pics(same as one before)

Crazy thing- they were all caught in the same pond. Pond x. The spawn came late there, the last 5 pics(of 2 different bass) were caught yesterday, they were only on beds just now! I’m hoping to go back on wend day or Thursday to fish more specifically on beds.
