Who else is on WEIGHT WATCHERS

I joined WW about 3 weeks ago. Last week I lost 6 pounds. It was not as hard as I thought.....that was until this past weekend. Our dog who is 9 yrs old had to go to the vet. She has Hemolytic Anemia, acute liver failure, renal failure....I have been giving a very very sick dog 5 pills three times a day, she out-smarts me. The vet I go to (and love!!) said that we can turn Snoopy around, I work full time, I have 22 adult chickens, 6 5 day old chicks, 6 dogs.... I am tired, heart-broken about my dog, I have not counted my points since last Friday.... I am still being pretty good, watching what I eat, just not counting, and not caring so much.... I hope everything turns around soon and I get back on track!!

ps: there is a "skinny" bagel, it has 100 calories, and counts as 1 point. They are as delicious as the big ones. They sell them at Walmart and I cannot think of the brand name. With the regular bread aisle! Enjoy

Oh man... I totally gained two pounds this week. x.x

Best friends bday party + big party at work with unlimited delicous cookies = FAIL

Ugh. And this week is my birthday and I'm turning 21. Do you have any idea how many points Alcochol is? D: It's not going to be pretty...

How's everyone else doing? Please tell me you guys are doing better than me!

I have TONS of great WW recipes. Since me and my husband started last week, I have made something new every night...trying to keep it fun and interesting. What type of stuff do you like? Tonight we had Mexican Lasagna and last week we had Chicken Parmigiana, Greek Pastitio (sp?), Veal with Mustard Sauce, all very tasty.
Since we started last Monday, my husband has lost 8 lbs. and I lost 4

Wonderful! I wouldn't mind a few recipes too. I like easy, simple, done with stuff I already have in the fridge and cupboard. Not a ton of ingrediences. Can you help?

Hi all, I jumped back onto the WW wagon Yesterday, please pray for me to stick with it. I love to eat and have a serious love hate relationship with food, but time for me to take control. I'm glad to be here on my favorite forum getting encouragement from others in the same boat as me.

Hi, y'all. I gained two pounds!

I hope everyone is feeling encouraged about sticking to WW. i find it so difficult at times because I love sweets, breads, meats and cheese! The Quaker cheese snacks and the Vanilla Creme Brulee snacks are helping me when I have those snack cravings. I am seriously in need of en tree recipes!

Carolina Chicky
, could you share some recipes, please? I'd love that Mexican lasagna one.

Here's the Mexican Lasagna:
1 10 oz. package of frozen spinach, thawed, drained, and squeezed dry
1 cup of part-skim Ricotta Cheese
1 (16 oz) can pinto beans, rinsed and drained
1 (15 oz) can black beans, rinsed and drained
6 (5 inch) corn tortillas
cooking spray
2 cup salsa (I used Newman's Own Mild)
1 (8 oz) block reduced-fat CHeddar with jalepeno peppers, shredded

1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees..
2. Combine spinach and ricotta cheese in one bowl and beans in another bowl.
3. Coat an 8 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Cut 3 of the tortilla into pieces and arrange in a solid layer on the bottom of the baking dish. Top with
half of the beans, half of the salsa, half of the spinach mixture and half of the cheese. Repeat layers.
4. Cover and bake for 25 minutes; uncover and bake an additional 15 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Yummy!!

Also another recipe for brownies for all the chocolate lovers (like me) These sounds nasty but they are delicious

1 box of Brownie Mix
1 can (15 oz. ) black beans
1/4 cup water

Liquify the black beans and water in the blender (no chunks of bean left)
Thoroughly mix the beans into the brownie mix.
Bake as directed.
These are 2 points each and the beans give them a huge dose of fiber. Suprisingly you can't taste the black beans in them at all.
