Who else is waiting the impossible wait?

EE-17 weeks, BLRW-24 weeks, Cochins-29 weeks AND NOT AN EGG IN SIGHT! I love my girls, but I think they have decided that they are so pretty they don't need to work.

10 RIR I bought on eBay hatch date this Saturday.

14 White Leghorns on Tuesday. This is my first time with multiple hatch dates in the same bator.

I'm sure it will be fine. I got the brooder box out of the garage and am getting ready to hook up the lights and get the feeder and waterers ready.

The wait is OVER!!!!!

I don't know which of the four pullets laid the egg but I suspect my black girl since she has the redest face and comb although I have a blue girl who is also a contender. It was almost as good as Christmas finding that egg yesterday!

YIIIPPEEE!!!! Got my first first egg today (A Halloween egg) from one of my girls who are around 26 weeks!
