Who has a kindle?

How does the 3g work? How does it pick up internet, if not WiFi?
And how is the screen? Will i be able to use it outside in the bright sunlight?? ( I cant use/read my fire outside in the sun..)
I'm looking for a Kindle that i can use outside this summer...

Basically the 3-G will work anyplace you can get 3-G phone service. Amazon foots the bill so it doesn't effect your cell phone bill. The WiFi versions can only work were there is a WiFi link--no problem when we're home since we have one but with my DX I can actually download in the car.
