Oh how exciting! He is precious!!! I'm taking from the pic he's a bay? I love the mark on his forehead.

Are you for certain thinking about taking him or not sure yet?

I think I'm gunna.... see. Not that he is less than I wanted, I just have DH to contend with (the original Negative Nancy). We have at least six months before we have to make hard decisions and I am sure if i don't the colt will land well. But... yes, I would really like to take him on. I will deff keep posting outcomes. Maybe start a thread..?

I enjoyed raising foals more than riding! See how it goes.
Have you done the 'foal imprinting' from Dr. Miller yet? Look it up, it's a really helpful way to start foals.

I'm sad that my trainer's horse, who's a lesson horse (too short with I think leg problems, so I can't ride her) was going to have another foal through her, but he died before/at the time of birth. I missed Slick's birth, my trainer's other horse out of Ariel, the above mentioned mare. Slick's about 3 or 4 now and nearly fully trained. My friend is actually gonna show her this week. I so badly wanted to have an adorable little foal at the barn!

Sorry for the sad story lol.
