I have bought most all of my eggs off eBay. I have good hatches and bad. The bad ones I believe are the sellers so now I go with sellers that have more than one breed. Just recently I bought a dozen welsummer eggs from a person dedwards and NONE of the eggs ever looked like they may have come in contact with a roo. The first box she sent had egg running out of the box. Couldn't believe she/he had wrapped the eggs in one of those hospital cotton pads they put on the beds. Second ones came wrapped in paper but those are the ones that hadn't seen a roo. I was disappointed in those. Others have hatched great. One person I use is Helen Bien (bluewaterranch) In Livingston, Texas. She's good and she knows her birds. Just about all I have came from her. I do have a list of those to steer clear of. I bought 12 welsummers from a guy today. I have a broody hen as of today so I'll let the hen hatch these eggs when I get them. The greatest thing is watching a momma calling her babies.
Good luck finding what you want and hatching them. There are always bad apples out there. Just have to weed those out.
