who here show there birds as displays

i would like to start showing displays next year would love to see ur displays

A display usually consists of one cock bird....one hen....one cockerel...one pullet...and usually, one old trio...or one young trio of the same variety and breed.....I ONLY show displays when the Host show has awards for them.....

Some shows do not have awards for displays....please check your show info before registering to see if they have monies/awards for displays..... to save you time and money.....

Seeing as how I have never shown before, does this mean birds bred by you, or can they be birds you purchased?

The judges won't know where you got your birds....I personally don't show other birds that people have bred....that's just me.....The judge judges whats in the cages....not it's history.

i show birds i have bought if i buy chicks for eggs from some i didnt breed them but i raised them and did work to get then to the show display birds would be birds i breed exept may my old pair
