Who is pipping and waiting right now??

I have "Designer Chickies" and Isa Browns. I had my first pip at 8:55 last night day 19 and this morning woke to a 2nd pip. At 8:27 I checked and the first pip had zipped and I watched till the top came off at 8:47. I now have 1 baby Isa out and about and 3 "Designer Chickies" pipped.

What was so funny as I had read about peeping in the eggs but mine were so quiet that I thought oh well I am not going to have any LOL. Then this morning I woke to peeping in the shell it was such a great sound.

Congrats all and Happy Hatching

What's really cool is when you peep at an egg, and it peeps back!

Still waiting... one egg due tomorrow...

It will be wonderful if this egg hatches... the breeder I got them from told me that the prized roo was killed the week after she shipped my eggs. Even better would be if it was a roo so I can carry on his line...

Hey neighbor. Ok, i'm wondering what makes the Isa's? It's a cross of what? I have mine with the Buff orps and that's what my Isa x is...but what makes the real one? I've heard the males are white? Oh, and good luck with your peeping zippers!

I have PIPS!!!! WOooooo-HOOOOOOO!!!!!

Out of 5 eggs under the hen, I have 3 with pips.

My latest hatch is in the bator in my classroom. I have 16 blue Cochin eggs on day 20. When I came in this morning...we had 4 pips!! The kids have been so excited!

Around 12:15 today, we had out first hatch. Our second hatch came at 1:00! I can't wait until tomorrow to see how many more will be hatched!! I love the sound of peeps!

Woops, just realized I should have put my thread here, instead of making a new one. Here it is!!

Well, 1st time incubator, with a homemade bator fashioned from Miss Prissy's, 11 eggs, and on day 20, 1 pip, then within 4 hours, 3 more pips, then 1 hour later, a zip, then a baby, then another zip, then another baby! Now, I have 2 babies, and one more zip!!! Woohoo!! From zip to baby on 1st egg, 25 minutes, on 2nd baby, 10 minutes!!! I'm sooooo thrilled!!! The kids are jumping up and down, and we all fight over the window of the bator!!!
