Ok, official total. 7 out of 7 of my daughters mutt eggs hatched.
My first 100% hatch.

The last one just hatched about 15 minutes ago.
I will take a picture when they are dry.

I have six more in the incubator that went in on 25th,27 & 29th.

We have hatched 7 out of 12 thus far. One more has pipped, one died (bled to death after pipping through a vein), and the other 3 I hope are fine. It is just day 20, so I haven't given up hope yet.

My family keeps laughing at me though because I keep running to check the bator every 10 minutes or so! Have to check on the new chicks and see if anyone else has made any progress

How do people do it with windowless incubators stand the wait???

Just checked again and the pipper is making some progress.

I don't think it would be easier to wait ... I'd probably kill them all cracking it open to peek. I've always said patience is a virtue which I do not possess ... I was absent the day they passed it out.

How exciting! I think the anticipation of hatching makes me naturally high.
For the first time since July my bator is unpluged.

ohhh. we had a hatch 7 days ago... our first successful hatch from our bantam araucana flock.. take a look...he is a cutie, fully tailless, looks untufted... well at least i think he is a rooster!

we are currently waiting on 12 large fowl ameraucana eggs (whites) and one bantam Ameraucana egg from a friends new flock!

oops... almost forgot.. grin.. we had a hatch on 0ct 22nd.. our first egg hatched from our blue Ameraucana pen.. blue roo, black hen.. looks like baby is blue! he is neat... at last, success!!!
