Who is pipping and waiting right now??

I am at day 29. I just browsed through my goose book and it said they can pip 2 - 2 1/2 days before they hatch.

I have been talking to the baby and it seems pretty responsive to my voice, so I will just keep an eye on her/him for another 12 hours before I peel back anymore of the membrane.

Other then the stress of running my mouth of with a e-mail at work

which will probably get me fired,

I have 1 turkey egg rocking! Yea! First time with turkeys an so excited. Its stacy's(hazleton farm's) turkey eggs she gave me!!!!! They just went into the hatcher but I see rocking!

We just had 6 babies last night. Only one seems to be having problems. They are so cute! This is the first time I've incubated chicks. They're a real mixed bunch. My chickens ( I got the eggs from them) were one of those bargain assortments from a hatchery. We have 9 hens and 4 roosters and the most ornery rooster seems to have fathered most of these!! He's the only black one and 4 are black. I have some other eggs that I put in later, so I'm hoping they will hatch. I'm amazed any of them did! I slept by the incubator last night--that tells you how nutty I am.

All of mine have hatched, waiting on the 3 that have pipped from Julies...

I have a pretty Splash that just hatched from Julies!!!! Two more pips to go!!!....whew....

One of my 5 has a good sized pip and I can see it's little beak and here it's little peeps:yiipchick
I hope all of them make it all the way. Day 20 so I know it could be awhile.
Oh Dang! I gotta run to WalMart and buy another Brooder.........

I have seven hatched, ten I'll leave in the bator for another day just in case they didn't get the memo.
