Who is pipping and waiting right now??

I am!! Just when I'd completely given up on my guineas that were due 2 days ago, I woke up to a very large pip this morning.

I have more pip's today. One is a sultan silkie mix and that egg was due yesterday. I see movement so I know it's still alive. I also have 4 more pipping that are due tomorrow and than 7 egg's I don't see anything yet. Come on babies, you can do it. Hurry up and wait. Good thing I have lot's of practise at that. lol

Day 12 for 2 shipped Silkie eggs, and 5 of my Silkie eggs. I had 100% fertility on the 5 eggs from my Silkies.

Im collecting my silkie eggs to hatch one more batch.

They are due to hatch sept. 4

The sultan silkie is out and a yellow buff too. YIPPIE. Can't wait to see the rest. I hope the sultan turn's out to be a beautiful bird. How could it not though. All my bird's are beautiful. Still look's like only three more are pipped so that leaves 7 doing nothing. 2 were due yesterday but so was the sultan and the remaining 5 aren't due until tomorrow. Here we go again and wait.

I have 6 piping out of 10 in my homemade bator - these are white leghorn eggs i got given to my by the lady at the feed store. her hen was killed by a fox in the early a.m. the day i can in to get feed & she wanted the eggs to go to someone who could hatch 'em out...talk about being at the right place at the right time. We'll split the clutch up when all done hatching.

Wow, I've never seen this thread on the 2nd page! I either don't look often enough or just haven't noticed in the past. Well.. back to page one you go "whos pipping & waiting" thread...

Tomorrow is Ranger's hatch day. Ranger is from our 1st set of turkey eggs and is the only turkey egg we have, the others were infertile or didin't develop. Why Ranger? the LONE Ranger..

Ranger is in an incubator all alone, with the exception of a ziplock bag full of nonviable eggs (why ziplock? in case they explode I didn't want them to ruin Rangers potential) and the eggs are there to help stabalize the bator temps.

Next week our 2nd batch of turkey eggs are due, only 3 developed and so

we should have 4 turkeys by the end of next week.
