Who knew roo/hen "sex" could be soooo violent? yikes!!!

I sure didnt! I went out in the backyard near the coop and sounded like something was inside the coop raisin hell Then I saw a roo chasing a hen and mount her. I guess I was kind of shocked by the sexual hair rasining attitude the roo had! Okay, I was shocked

Not a nary egg so far and hope chicks will come soon cause "later" isnt working!

The first time our (ex) roo tried to mate one of the hens, I was completely traumatized! I was chasing him with a stick, yelling, "No Means No!"

That's a good one!

Some of the roosters are really awful but I don't think any of them are very nice about it. I think it's pretty violent too - poor girls.
