Who laid this?

I just got back and I did get the 30% bag before. Now I remember when I went in last time I specifically asked for a gamebird feed. So that is why they gave it to me. My bad. I went to the warehouse and asked the gentleman if I could look at their labels and they let me. They had every kind of poultry feed I could want as well as the all flock raiser that TSC has. Plus it was cheaper than at TSC. Score!

Good thing my birds only ate 2 bags of the gamebird chow 30%!

Wow! Glad you found out. The people at my store aren't nearly as helpful.

Watch them walk. I could tell which ones were laying and which ones weren't, by the shape of their belly area.
Scientific, I know.
Is this what you mean by the shape of the belly? I can tell there are a few ducks that their bellies dip down in the rear and a few of mine do not. My Pekin, which I'm pretty sure is who is currently laying has a belly that is lower to the ground. The first picture, KK's belly dips down. The second picture is Magenta, who's belly doesn't stick down.

I am in total agreement with those of us who use Purina Flock Raiser. I have had ducks for the last 4-5 years, and every single one has been fed Flock Raiser, with NO ill effects anywhere. Of course I give some veggies, usually lettuce, and an occasional treat, like dried meal worms.

This egg is the same colour as one of my Cayuga eggs I also have some dark grey eggs and some blue/green eggs from them so they can lay a variety of colours, if it's a Cayuga egg they put a grey coating on the eggs wich can be washed off if cleaned. As it's not in the pigment of the shell. These are my Cayuga eggs so far.
