I love the Earth's Childern series, did you hear the last one is due out this spring?

Kool! I love this series too. My Mom got me started on these.

I love to read too much... my Dr just yelled at me and said I cannot be reading so much

I finished reading Thomas the Tank Engine (and yes, it's just as fun to read now as it was when I was first learning to read). Now I'm reading Paranormalcy by Kiersten White.

My kids read the wimpy kid series. My youngest reads everything in sight. It is a wonderful addiction but also a costly one sometimes! Thank GOD for Libraries and Thrift Shops!

Last summer she read all of the unfortunate event books( they are thick for her age, which is NOW 10-- she was 9 then).. ther are 13 in the series if i remember right and she read the last 11 of them over the 2 month summer break!

I love reading! Sometimes I like "light" reading, and will rip through a bunch of fun paperbacks - either Dean Koontz books and the like, or I'll get all romantic fun and go through some Nora Roberts. I just read through the five Anne McCaffery books (the Dragons/Pern ones), I want to get more of those.

Then I go and want something heavier, longer. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the Dark Tower series by Stephen King. That's gosh, 7 books at 300-700 pages each? More? I also love stuff like Les Miserables, Atlas Shrugged and The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand, and other "long" books.

Right now I'm jumping back in the classics and reading War and Peace by Tolstoy

I love to read !! It's my favorite thing in the world to do. I'm 51 years old and I've read all my life. I can't imagine a world without books. It just flabbergasts me that a person doesn't read. How can that be??? I read continually. I will read anything, though I confess that fiction is my favorite simply because I like to be entertained. I don't care romances, either historical or contemporary (bodice rippers - UGH), so I stay away from those. I have read the Outlander series and I did like it, for the most part. I love JD Robbs "In Death" series. Right now I am reading the "Sookie Stackhouse" series and am on book 8. It's okay - I won't read it again, but it is an easy, fun, and entertaining read. I'm going to read the "All Creatures Great and Small" series by James Herriot after I finish the Sookie series. I also like to read anything about the Celts and the Druids. I also like books about herbs and their uses. One of my favorite books is "The Spiral Dance" by Starhawk. Another favorite is "The Mists of Avalon" by Marion Zimmer Bradley - PHENOMENAL book. I have a slew of favorite authors and favorite books, but my most favorite book series of all time, and will never be equaled again, is the Harry Potter series. I bawled like a baby when I finished "The Deathly Hallows" because I knew it was over. If I could have one wish granted, it would be that there actually would be a wizarding world and that I would be a witch, not a muggle. LOL.
