Who Misses Their Chickies?

Quote:
I just look at the cute pictures that people post and try to WILL someone into buying my house. And also will my way into a place I can have chickens at. Eventually we'll both get chickens! Can I just fast forward everything?

hennypenny, I know what you mean...hence the reason we only have five and I can ONLY have 5...we technically can't have any until we move in a year. Buuuuut my parents dont know the girls are down here and we're trying to find a farmer in the area that is going to let us build a coop on his land for our girls for the next year....but we need to work FAST...they'll be outside within the next month or even two weeks depending on this weather! Times going too fast now, but at the same time NOT FAST ENOUGH! :-)

I was so angry at my DH when he put the chicks out of the laundry room and into the dog room(separate building out in the pasture). I thought for sure he was going to kill them all with the chilled air. But I am slowly getting over it. The chicks are fine and happy and I sit with them daily. Not only that, but we have new peeps in the house, so that helps as well. Next week we are picking up our final shipment of chicks though, so I will be soon missing the little ones in the house. Still, I do look forward to having my living room and laundry room back to its regularly scheduled clean state of being.

p.s. I find it Most relaxing to sit in the evening sun sipping a nice glass of wine, while my chickens free range in the pasture. I could sit there for hours watching them. Can't wait until better weather gets here!!!
