Who says goat hoove trimming is easy?

I use these and love them

Oh great! Thanks for letting me know. I feel better now.

I'm gonna burst the bubble and say I hate those shears

They're well made, but I had a really hard time getting them to cut like I wanted. Even with sharpening I just found them hard to use.

I went and bought a pair of $6 gardening shears from TSC and love them! The spring fell out a few months ago so the shears don't have the ability to spring back open, but they've lasted for over a year and all I really need to do is replace the spring.

A small pair of pruning shears....the blades on them are like 3 inches long. Some are really sharp so be careful.

Thanks.

Love those clips just got them for my goats a few weeks ago I cringed when I saw your price tag though. I managed to get mine for $9.95 from the local feed store. But have to say they work like a charm and I like the narrower blades as opposed to my old hoof clips but the old ones were intended for cattle so had thicker blades. They do make quick work and are super sharp so I'm making doubly sure to keep them out of harms way from my 5 year old and my accident prone fiancee. He's (my fiancee) already nearly gotten stabbed with them multiple times and almost stepped on them once but then again he nearly stepped on the goat I was holding at the time too.

I got these same ones from Caprine Supply and I like them. Nice and sharp and comfortable to handle. I've done my 3 goats several times (and that first go, they were really overgrown) and they are still just as sharp as when I first opened them.
