Confession time, anyone?

I took my Christmas tree and decorations down about 2 weeks ago, but I leave all my Snowmen decorations up for another month or so then I get Spring Fever and will replace them with Easter/Spring decorations.

I have my snow men still up too! I figure it is still winter, so the winter stuff stays.

however, even though the other Christmas decorations went down over two weeks ago, The husband and son begged me to leave the tree up. We barely got it in and decorated before Christmas morning so they figure they get more tree time.

I made them promise to let me take it down this weekend... but we have not been around the house to do it. Funny how well I can be manipulated from that task. I did see a lot of trees in the back of pick ups yesterday, so I am not the only one.

But hurry up spring! I have a garden to plant, maybe they will allow the Christmas tree to go if I replace it with a palm or something. Maybe they just want some outside inside...
like the boot dirt and dog prints aren't enough.

Mine is up, but I did take down the ornaments about a week ago. It's an artificial tree but looks very realistic. The lights are built into the tree itself and run on batteries on a timer (Bethlehem Lights) and I THINK I might take it down and put it away .... tonight. Maybe. It's not in the way or anything....
