Who was the FIRST CHICK OF 2010??? Post pix & stats!

The local TV news stations always make a big deal about the first baby to be born in a new year. So I'm wondering who here hatched the first chick of 2010? There may be more than one since we cover so many time zones. But if you rang in the New Year watching new chicks push out of their shells, please let us know & post photos if you have them!

Proud & sleepy owners of new birds of any type or other baby critters are welcome to post too, of course!

I had a lil splash silkie hatch last night around 1:15 or so.

My first on January 1 was at 8:00 a.m. No winner here!

I actually watched one of my Jersey Giants hatch right as the New Year rolled in... probably around 12:15 he was completely done

As a new year baby myself and not the first from San Francisco - won't say what year! It isn't when you showed up it what you do with life once you get here!
