His jockey got injured, and the jockey who rode him... HIS horse was scratched due to a stomach issue...
Poof winner...

I didn't even very look at the horses, until they were about to go into the starting gate.. I can look at the horses and generally say that of 3 they will win place or show..
And Nehro.. I saw something in him.. he came in second... I didn't catch AK's name... but saw him go into the gate, and thought that one will do well..

That was a good race! Of course my 6 year old daughter was going for Pants on Fire (pink plus female rider ) And I am a Bob Baffert fan, But it was a really exciting race!!

It was a good race, I can't think of too many that aren't, they are always exciting. Felt sorry for poor AAA, though. Wish they could away from that injury thing, it's like a black cloud. AK did an especially nice job since he'd never run on dirt bf. My DS picked him to win. Hope he gets to go to the Preakness..

It would be nice if he wins the Triple Crown...

No, they said his injuries weren't life threatening. He's going to have surgery.

I saw the horse going into the ambulance, but didn't realize what had happened (went outside when the race was over). That's so sad.
