Whole flock sick and not eating, Please Help

Three more days of corid and then take a break. You can start them on miconazole if their crops aren't emptying overnight.

I have the same recommendation as an earlier post, clean their run thoroughly this weekend. With the weather this year I've spent more money on bedding than any other year. So much mud.
How many days of miconazole? I started them on it last night and gave this morning. My husband says they seem to be mostly normaly this afternoon. So I can't wait to get home and see how they are.

Three times a day for a week. 1cc or 1ml per dose. you can split it to morning and night since you have to travel for work. And then do three times for the weekend. It's important to treat the underlying condition, which you're doing,. hopefully they'll get better since you're dealing with the cocci.

Ok thank you all. I'll get some more today. Didn't go far treating 8.

They were walking around a little when I got home yesterday and made some noise when they saw me. It was harder to give everyone meds. Bill was difficult to catch and hold. So he's definitely feeling a little better. I'll know he's completely better when he starts getting mad at me for picking up his ladies lol.
They still had water balloon feeling crops but some were a little smaller and some had a little food in them.
Everyone looked little more bright eyed.

I haven't let them out yet this morning but Bill has crowed about 10 times already!! He hasn't done that in the morning all week!

Hope they keep going in the right direction and feel better soon!!

Thanks again for the help!!!

Well they were all lined up ready to come out this morning and crops were almost empty. Half of them took a few bites of scrambled eggs. They haven't really eaten since Monday afternoon so I wanted to get something in them.

Cleaning out the run this weekend. Is there anything that would help with the mud better than the stall pellets? So much rain 😳

Is their run covered with a roof? Is there any way to reroute water to run away from your coop and run with a trench? Pictures of your setup could help.
It's one of those 8x8 runs from tractor supply with a pop up cover on the top and it's up against our house and porch on 2 sides. Replacing the pop up cover with a sturdier tarp this weekend. The side that faces out, rain just blows in, it's so much with nonstop rain the last few weeks.
We're going to get an extra tarp to cover that side when it rains like this, at least block it a little. I have the gutter water routed away from it and we're working on a way to catch what's running off the side at the porch to route it away too.

With all the rain we've had it's just not getting a chance to dry out. Now the stall pellets aren't getting a chance to dry and are soaked in the front corner.

Forgot to add a picture. This is a temporary set up until we can build something larger and more permanent.
We plan to fence an area soon so we can turn them out in the evenings.

Try some sand for the surface. Dawg53 gets sand hauled in each year to make fresh surfaces for his chickens. You can sometimes find it free if near a creek, or buy it at Lowes or Home Depot.

If you could make a slanted roof that overhangs to the outside, that would shunt the water away from them. If you can obtain any used metal or fiberglass roofing panels from someone in the are, you could build up the back side with wood to help slant it. I tried tarps early on, and they were hard to deal with. Plus, it is good to try and make the top predator-proof.
