Who's a Lip Balm Junkie!

The 'Transfer Plan" - Now THAT Sounds like a great plan!

Does anyone else find that they have to rotate lip balm as it loses effectiveness?

Okay, I don't get the fascination about Burt's Bees. I bought a tube about a month ago because I'd heard it was great. I thought it was just like regular, plain ole' chapstick. I pitched it.

Hmmmm... "lose effectiveness". You mean, wearing off quickly? Or gradually allowing chapping even when reapplied often?

Well, I like the Pomegranate type which I wouldn't have tried if a co-worker hadn't given me a collection of five different balms for my birthday last year. It's silky and has a light pleasant scent.

Burt's Bees "Lip Shimmers" in the skinny tube are terrible though. My co-worker picked a shade she thought would work for her and she looked like she was dearly departed. Awful. (Looked terrible on me too.)

wanna talk about addiction...

well i have one in my car, one in hubbys truck 4 in my locker at work, one on my night stand, 3 on my dresser, one at my moms, and who knows how many in my purse...if i go out somewhere and dont have one i will buy more...

I like blistex fruit smoothies the best, but i will use almost anything..(except chicken poop..lol)

We do that too. Like shampoo & conditioner, I have to have 3 containers from different companies.

Right now: Avon, burt's & plain old shea butter.

The latter. Seems like when I use one particular brand of lip balm for an extended period, regardless of the brand, it loses effectiveness. Once I switch, it's fine.

My lips "get used to" the lip balm? Seems kinda odd, but it's true.
