Who's got December molters?

I have 3 out of 7 molting. 20191221_092659_resized.jpg 20191221_092705_resized.jpg 20191213_125625_resized.jpg , and one that finished molting last week. 20191221_092648_resized.jpg . Past experience with my Golden Comets, says she won't lay for a another 3-4 weeks.
I had my slowest week of egg production this season 1 egg a day, 7 total. Week before I got 10.
All eggs are coming out of the Barred Rocks coop. I haven't seen eggs from my Golden Comets coop since middle of November. Out of the two Golden Comets I only have one layer, and she's molting. The other retired last spring. She's gorgeous. 20191213_125640_resized.jpg . GC

My poor bantam cochin named Stella is going through a hard molt. I've never had a bird molt so late in the season! I feel so bad for her, but she's made it through three single digit nights last week. Thank goodness it's been warmer this week. I'd worry more if she didn't have other birds to snuggle up to at night. I still worry about her because you realize how small these bantams are once most of their feathers are gone!

Hoping everyone's birds get some decent feathering before the next cold front.

I have a few. I was just checking them real close because I noticed alot of them were missing part of their beards but when examining them close I saw lots of pin feathers and no creepy crawlers I was worried about mites or lice. Usually I just notice crazy crest and they look a little skinnier then I pick them up and see pin feathers. This poor girls has been my worst molt, this was last month I noticed today they she has started getting her shape back.

Our lead hen Big Mama is having a nasty molt. She's 5 years old now and I've been trying to slip her extra treats to help her get through it.

Mine are all Molting right now. Out of 11 layers I’m only getting about 2 eggs a day. Less light and molting isn’t treating me well. I have 10 more that are 20 weeks and should lay soon. I was starting to wonder if they found somewhere else to lay.

Wow, there's a lot of hens molting out there! Some pretty awesome pictures! For me, this is the first year where my hens are molting, so it's pretty interesting.

P.S., thank you @sumi for featuring my thread.
