I need a better flashlight!!!! I saw that about half the egg was dark and I think I saw a few veins. I was just using a junk flashlight. I'll pick up a good one tommorrow after work and take another look.
 
Ok, ok...whew....question...hatch going...have 3 chicks hatched totally different mothers...they all look the same!!! going to upload pics...stand by...and how can this be???

Ok the first chick that hatched fluffy one to the far right its mother is a splash maran, I will post the moms pics also so you can tell me how this happened

I used to get great hatches on my LG bator. I kept the humidity at 35% - 45% for the first 18 days and the temperature at 99.8f - 102f for the first 18 days. On the last three days I raised the humidity to 60% - 70% and I keep the temperature the same. That's what I used to do and I had great hatches

but my bator broke so I will not be hatching on my bator till next year. I have a broody hen that is due the 27th

Yes, total up to 5 chicks hatched...all look the same and have different moms, breeds!!!...all being born yellow color!!! so far...except my australorpe....and I have one pipped and one zipping...zipping one is coming in yellow! lol

so 5 hatched....have 25 more to go, and two of those are coming along so 23
