I just did eggtopsies on my 5 shipped eggs that were still clear after 10 days. No development to be seen, not even a blood ring. The yolks were just a puddle in there though so I couldn't tell if they had been fertile or not. Had yours started developing at least?

That's interesting, I've been curious whether shipped eggs are more likely to just not develop at all or stop later on...
It's on day 12 so I was hoping it would at least make it to lock down...Don't lose hope, maybe someone local will have one for you. I have purchased 25 shipped eggs total and only 2 hatched. It seems that shipped eggs are really hard to hatch out. My two just hatched Sunday and Monday. I have one more that I am hoping will hatch but there is not a whole lot of movement. This is my first incubator hatch that had success, but only my second time trying.Well, of those six shipped eggs with detached air cells, only one developedIt seems to be doing well, growing and very active, and is due to hatch at the end of next week. I had put an egg from my neighbor in as well in case this happened, but no sign of development in that one. Her flock seems to have pretty low fertility rates (lots of older girls) so I'm not that surprised, but that's left me trying to figure out what to do with one lone chick...
I am up to 5 chicks hatched it has been really grueling! I had one hatch Sunday, two Monday and two today. I have three that are not looking good. I will wait until Thursday night and probably call it done.well congrats!!
Aw sorry that happenedWell, the single egg I had that actually was developing wasn't moving so much last night and this morning it still isn't moving and looks like it's developing a blood ring
hehe good that 5 have hatched! Yes, Thursday sounds like a reasonable time. Hopefully they do hatch before then though! I currently have two wrong pipped eggs and one internally pipped. The two that pipped on the wrong ends have me worried lol They have a small hole to breathe with which I feel isn't adequate in size and when I hold them to my ear they make these wet sounds, but no chirping or anything. Gonna leave them like that for about 2 hours and hope they make progress and not die on me.. I'm thinking about making that hole bigger just enough for them to breathe.
