Who's Ready For Fall?RAIN NEEDED AND COOLER TEMPS NEEDER[REWARD OFFER

I have a feeling fall's going to be more like a normal summer we used to have here. It's supposed to be 98F here today with the heat index at 103F. And the humidity will be nearly 90%. If anyone isn't convinced about global warming yet they should just go spend the day outside and they'll get the big picture.

I agree Its been crazy hot this year. I keethinking come on fall! Bet after all this heat we will have a brutal Winter. My dad used to say watch the seasons. If its a very hot dry summer then it will be a very cold wet winter. He was usually right. So going by that watch out for winter! But right now sitting in 90 degrre heat with indexes over 110 I say bring it on

and with you on this one, you get winters like I do (northern Ontario Canada) I am certainly not ready for fall at all. my snowblower isn't fixed, I haven't repaired my thermo pane window in the dinning, my furnace is not even installed and I am in the middle of trying to get the basement ready to be insulated and same with the attic. in my defense its been one delay after another the whole summer and then hubby kept being sent out of town for work :-( he taught me how to put up the insulation in the basement but the insulation hasn't even arrived yet, some sort of delay at the plant. I am however ready for apple picking, and apple pies with spice and the smell of cinnamon, and pumpkins, picking pumpkins with my kids and maple leafs off the ground and pasting them up in little home made books and then seeing how many different colour leaves we can get. I am ready for fall hikes and watching the mama bears round here take her cubs to find their resting place for winter. I am ready for small game hunting, and fishing at the lake without worrying about hand size mosquitoes. I am ready for fall fair in town where I can buy all the yummy preserves, maple syrups and walnut butters and home raised honey, ready to buy that hand crafted angel for the top of the Xmas tree that we can only get the last week of September at the fall fair for only one vendor that spends all year making these beautiful angels...ok so I could go on and on...fall is my favorite season!!!! but here it last a month sometimes a lot less. :-(

I really feel so bad for some of the southern states!! It has been steaming hot down there.

We have been hotter and dryer than usual here in Michigan... but I sure can't complain when I hear what my relatives have gone through. Must be awful!

But Fall is just around the corner... I love the fall the best... seems that everything is winding down in the fall... school starts up and the parents get a break, the flowers and garden are all but gone... canning and preparations have been done, so we can relax, some pretty good holidays are on their way.... and that first snow that makes every one hunker down is right around the corner. I love the Fall!!

Not me. My garden is the best its been in a few years. The bees are going crazy and there will be lots of honey. As much as the humidity can be a pain I so much prefer it over cold damp days. I dread lugging water to the animals in the cold and snow even with the new hydrants my husband installed. Just don't like the cold and short days.

It's been way too hot here in PA as well...but our winters are horrid...(especially the last one)

Fall is the most beautiful time of the year here, and I absolutely love it....with that being said, fall means Jack Frost is right around the corner and my back is not looking forward to shoveling any more of that white crap than I need to...
