25 years. I totally agree some people think you are either lying or some sort of a freak if you don't insult your spouse. I work in a hospital and dh was admitted last summer for surgery and they said we acted like newlyweds. Even his room mate thought we were only married a couple of years. Some don't know the meaning of cherish and respect(not obey).

It has been getting better though. We are a bit more stable in our living situation.. We were homeless for the first 4 years of our marriage.. The housing is very hard to come by in my area. At least reasonabley priced ones..

I've only been married 5 years, but I'm only 22 and everyone thought we wouldn't last 6 months. Ha! You guys who have stuck with it for so long, you are my heroes.
