They were laid 2/1 I bring them to a full rolling boil and then remove from the heat and let them stand for 12-15 minutes. Then they go into ice bath and I peel. They PRB eggs are always like that. I first thought there was more yolk than white They have great taste. I wanted to pickle these, but I'm doing egg salad instead.My first thought was Pabst Blue Ribbon...but probably Plymouth Barred Rock.
@Clementine2022 Would be good to know how they were boiled and how old the eggs were.
I went Pabst, too. Glad I’m not alone, I thought maybe the lush in me was showing
I steam my eggs (don’t ask me how- I just use an egg steamer and follow the instructions) and I always poke a hole through the shell, which I suspect may be the real secret.
