MyCookoonest-------I had to do a double take when I saw your photo-- same feeder, looks like my brooder, same light and same looking chicks!!!

Do you have your younger chicks in with the older ones? How is that going? We've got a bunch hatching, and have 3 week old chicks in the big brooder. I'd love to be able to combine them at some point!

I found if you leave them in the bator for over 24 hours and they don't have their sea legs anymore and are pecking they do fine. Just keep an eye on them. I have put babies in too soon before and they got picked... so I put up a little brooder and gave them a few days to get oriented...

These little guys are tiny compared to the older ones! They are about 1/4 the size!

I just checked them and the three of them are huddled around Harley... cuddling with her. I can't get over it!

I have one mille flues that hatched a week before a second batch of 8 hatched at 4 weeks he well put himself between my hand and the younger chicks every time one feed and water

IMO, when a person says no echecks on their ad, it proves they are selling old eggs anyway. or they have only 1 bird laying. If you list a 7 day auction, the eggs should not be already laying around for 7 days till the auction ends. but freshly laid when payment is received, by e check, paypal, or money order for that matter.
