Why arent my chickens laying?

Oh! Yes, I have two roosters. But roosters have nothing to do with egg production. Im just stumped as to why I went from two dozen a day to two eggs a week. I understand they slow down due to time of year, temperature, moulting, etc. but that doesnt explain the drastic drop. Maybe time will tell.

If another one dies, you could send the body off for a necropsy, maybe they can figure out what's up. I know there's some threads floating around with how-tos. I think they usually run around $125 ish.

I used Eprinex to worm. I had checked with a veterinarian on the dosage and have used it several times for worming as well as having a red mite problem. They don't have either. I used Corid to treat for coccyx also checking with a vet for proper dosage and treatment time. Their stool shows no worms or coccyx at all.
I talked to a veterinarian yesterday about the problem as well as explaining to him the unexplained deaths of several of my hens over the summer and discussed basically that if one shows signs of lethargy as the previous ones have, to bring in that hen to either him or the state and have it euthanized and preform a necropsy and histology among other tests they can run to determine what the cause of death was<excluding obvious euthanization>.
I have had chickens for over five years<could be more I lost count> and have never had this poor of production. Most of the hens are still very young, under three years or younger. I have older hens but I know they aren't laying anymore but despite the fact I still should be getting around 17 or more eggs a day, Im only getting one or two a week now.
I guess I will have to wait til another one shows signs of dying. Maybe then I can figure out whats going on.

I usually get the organic scratch from the amish people in Ky. I get the omega pellets I think its Purina from the local feed store. The last time I got pellets I upgraded the protien from 16% to 22% because a freind of mine who also has chickens said maybe they needed more protien. Today I actually got two eggs. That makes 4 total this week which is more than I have been getting. I also found a yolk in another nest with a separate rubbery paperlike piece which I think is some sort of shell in the nest also. They get oyster shell mixed in with their feed. I dont really give them kitchen scraps. Occaissionally bread or leftover veggies if there is any left but not often. They are on lights until 8 or 9 pm. Considering they laid two today and an unformed egg, maybe its working. Keeping my fingers crossed!
