why did my chicks hatch so late

i dont actually open it to add water as it has an automatic pumping system but maybe its worth moving them about a bit thanks all things i can try for future hatches

Same happened to my Rcom 20 suro. it said the temp was 37.5 but the humidity was a little high and then it turns out that the fan was not working so was not blowing the warm air down so i had to replace it. i would suggest putting a thermometer in the bator just to make sure that thats the temp to the eggs, because the thermometer on the bator is measuring the temp at the top of the bator
