why did she die?

hi all. it is a sad day in our family. Henrietta, our most friendly chicken died. She has been quiet for a week and has been spending a lot of time standing still and quietly clucking when we go near. No running for flys or running to us as usual.
She began to sit down and dose a lot. She was eating ok, and yesterday she seemed to be taking lots of sips of water. So I thought she was going to be ok. Then yesterday we spotted she had runny poos too so today we dashed to the vet and got some worming treatment. But it was too late to help her IF that was the issue, since i spotted her slumped over an hour ago. and she had gone.

does it sound like worms? i couldnt see any in her poo. she looked perfect.

can i add we only have 3 chickens and the other 2 seem fine. we have no other animals, should worms be a thing to worry about? i thought worms were more of a farm concern.....
its confusing. she was only 2 years old.
