Why Did The Chicken Cross The Road?

This morning my 3 year old son asked me to tell him a joke and I couldn't think of anything, so I said

"Why did the chicken cross the road?"

(figured I'd say "to get to the other side")

When my son blurts out and starts laughing!

"Because it wanted to be dead" ha, ha....

What a silly kid! But at least he knows running out in the road is not a good choice! LOL
