Why do we do this to each other?

Update on Beaker aka Gonzo:

Beaker is trying to hold her own with the rangers and ee's. she pushes for food and water. However, I think PP should give me another bantam to raise with Beaker. She really enjoys the warmth of the others though I think they treat her poorly. They step all over her when she's trying to sleep, sit on her and peck at her. She doesn't seem to mind the sitting on, in fact she likes it b/c it's warmth to her. She seems so fragile next to them though. And you know they stink and they are growing way faster than she. They'll be outside soon and she'll be all alone. Then she'll be like Tina was...crying ALL THE TIME for company (Tina still cries when the others leave her to go foraging). So, in short, Beaker needs a house mate.

She just got the little silkie from me an it's only a few days old, and Tina is around 2 months now.

they can come here!

Well if they're all pullets they'll be staying here. And I only hatch pullets so it looks pretty good

alright, fess up, what's your secret??

I have no idea, but I never hatch any cockerals. Even the chicks I got from PC I got 1 male and the rest are females

Tina is grown and hanging out with her surrogate mama (bantam RIR..i heard "her" clearing her throat the other day, so maybe it's a dad) and step siblings (the buckeyes). I'm half thinking of making Tina move in with Beaker, but she needs to establish herself with the older crew too.

SO PP just needs to give me a newly hatched silkie.
