Why do you raise quail?

I always liked the look of quail- small, round and cute! I have quail that I like to hatch and sell chicks. I sell them as pets and for eggs. If people are buying them for meat, I don't want to know about it. They are easy to care for and I just enjoy them.

I got the coturnix as pets, buttons for fun and we have a pair of bobwhites that I bought my boyfriend for his birthday last year because like a previous poster said, he likes the sounds they make. Currently they are keeping my extra pigeon from being lonely so they serve a purpose as well as sounding and looking cute.
