Why Don't They Listen?????!

My next pet peeve is when they tell me I'm asking too much for my 9 week old Blue Orpingtons; mind you, they're so rare that the person I'm talking to didn't even know they existed, but they'll tell me they're too expensive. EXCUSE ME, but you can't even buy a DAY OLD Blue Orp, straight run, for just $5! That same person is possibly wanting all 7 of my Barred Rock cockerels. Said they'd call back tomorrow night. I'm only asking $2 each for these 9 week old very friendly boys and I'm afraid they're destined for the soup pot.

Well, just add me to your list of stupid people! LOL! I did think all chickens were white when Larry brought Brandy here! (To my credit, I knew roosters could be colorful because of artwork at my mom's house!) I thought Brandy was a quail or partridge or something at first. He did keep saying she looked like a foriegn chicken. A lady at my church thought she was a Mexican chicken. Larry thought so too, because there is a soccer field in the park where he found her and a lot of Mexicans play soccer there. When I googled "Mexican Chicken" all I got was a bunch of recipes! LOLOLOL! Anyway, when I asked Speckledhen about Blue Splash Orp pullets/hens/girls etc. tonight, I had not read any posts suggesting she had only roosters. I just noticed splash orps in her signature. Perhaps I'll smarten up since I intend to hang around this site for a very long time! I have had a very good time laughing at myself reading all the replies to this thread! Keep 'em coming! I can take it!
