My he is handsome! I love his coloring!

beautiful story. It tells it so true for a lot of us. This brought a tear to my eyes, and joy to my heart. Your roo does feel, he knows what he is doing, may not know why he is doing it, but he knows. I wish our men would take after our roosters once in awhile.

Be proud of him, as I know you are. He is one to be cherished and loved to pieces!

My 'Bird is the same way, protector of all, love button to me.

I have to agree! I was scared of my roo at first because of all the horror stories on here, and I ended up with two amazing, sweet ones! It's a shame that they get such a bad rap when there's so many good ones out there.

I'm glad your boy is okay, Cetawin! Your story brought tears to my eyes, I'm so proud of him!

Awesome story, and THIS is where your choice on extermination of a predator is COMPLETELY sound! You were protecting your animals. You did everything in your power to make the situation safer for all. You did the right thing, and your rooster is an incredible boy!

I love this story! Thank you for sharing. We were about 3 weeks without a roo when our first one died... the girls were lonely for sure! Since the day our new roo (Tobias) came they have loved him!
