That's a good point, but I do wonder sometimes.

We all wonder. Sometimes that is a good thing. Really, doesn't it all boil down to faith? Enjoy the present, for the future is uncertain and the past cannot change.

Here's something I've wondered about.

Why is it that that one particular bird that you're most fond of is the one that gets hurt or sick or taken out by a predator?
Agree. The only decent PC pullet I got out of 6 birds was, of course, the one that fell ill with Marek's/Botulism. The cull pullets are healthy as horses. :rolleyes:

Oh, and just last week a fox got my SH hen, one of the only two birds I had on the keep-for-life list.
