My little bantam hen has recently started getting poop stuck to her booty. I washed it off and dried her 2 days ago and she is already done it again. I soaked her booty in warm Epson salt bath and checked her over. There is no bugs or anything that I can see but her booty area seems itchy and red.

Was the tissue red before you washed her? Because sometimes it can get red after a bout of rubbing and scrubbing to remove caked on poop. That will go away on its own.

If the redness was there before the washing, then it's an inflammation that could be caused by fungus or bacteria. Use Verticyn wound spray on it and see if that helps. Maybe try some antibacterial ointment.

If those fail, try women's miconazole vaginal yeast cream.
